Highlander Classic Series S2H13079C-4
Highlander S Series S2H1308S-4
The 13'0" rods grain windowed at 500 to 800 grains are light weight work horse rods suitable for all game fish well into the 30 pound range.
All of the rods within this family are serious, hard working tools suitable for all mid sized rivers within a 4 season fishery. They are medium duty transitional rods that have the power to range into heavy duty applications.
Many of our mid size coastal rivers can have flows that will fluctuate greatly, these conditions varying with glacial snow melt or strong seasonal rains. Because of this, the nature of these rivers can quickly change within a days fishing. To cover these scenarios many anglers will choose a rod with enough inherent power to manage the fish fight and delivery of higher grained lines required of stronger hydraulics. Defeating a 15 pound fish in bright water low flows is much different then when the river is in a high flow situation.
It is in situations like this that the13'0' 500 to 750 grain rod may save the trip.
