These are incredibly powerful, yet extremely light weight fly rods, designed to throw balanced shooting head systems great distances, under the toughest conditions. They were designed with the beach caster in mind. East and West coast anglers have found them to be a hard working, extremely versatile rods for Stripers. Fly fishers on the Gulf and Baja, pursuing Roosters, Sails, Bills, Barracuda, Dorado, and Tarpon have also found find them to be an excellent tools. Powerful enough to present heavy grain lines great distances from the surf or ponga, yet friendly enough to snap roll a quick floating line presentation to big spooky shallow water Tarpon.

Fresh water anglers pursuing Muskies and Monster Pike with top water bugs or subsurface streamer need a lightweight rod with tremendous power to punch big burley bugs into whatever big still water conditions may arise. And, have enough back bone to turn and defeat them at the gunnels. The system 12 is more then a fair match for these game fish.

Salmon anglers have found that this rod is easily capable of presenting to and handling 50 pound plus Chinook from the estuary beach or river.
